Our Story

Alicia will tell our story soon...

But till then here's Charles' bullet point version:

  1. We met (@ ORU), I liked her, we went out (to Starbucks).
  2. She was willing to listen even when I wasn't intelligent sounding or very positive (ORU doesn't always bring out the best)
  3. I was intentional about our relationship (I gave her a nice wrist watch) having potential, she didn't run away.
  4. I moved (for school), she followed (for school, of course).
  5. I got hungry (perpetually), she learned to cook (with excellence, thank you Food Network).
  6. I finished school (M.A. Communication), she supported me (emotionally).
  7. I needed a job, she never doubted me.
  8. I wanted to wait till I had a job (to provide), she never let me forget how long we'd been dating (courting).
  9. I asked (with a really nice ring), she said yes (big surprise)!
  10. God has blessed us and continues to bless us (I got a job)!
